Mixing: Add one teaspoon to one cup (8 oz.) of rapidly boiling water. Stir well, reducing
heat until completely dissolved (no less than 10 minutes) into a rich tomato-like,
concentrated liquid. Set a side to cool.
During Molt: Mix all 8 oz. of prepared mixture with (1/2) gallon drinking water.
Year Round: Mix all 8 oz. of prepared mixture with 1 gallon drinking water.
To Use In Nesting or To Condition Food: Mix a small amount of full strength concentrate
with food until crumbly moist. Each breeder
shall determine the amount required by his flock
of birds.
NOTICE: When using Carofill Red Pure Canthaxanthin in drinking water, restrict the feeding
of high water content foods such as greens, cucumbers, oranges, etc., so birds will
be forced to drink more of the treated water.
CAUTION!!!: Carofill Red Pure Canthaxanthin may result in a reddish hue when fed to yellow
or any other bird than a Red Factor.
Canthaxanthin has been used in coloring canaries as well as other birds for decades by professional breeder world wide!!
